Employment and Training Opportunities in Jersey
Terms of Reference
To examine employment and training provisions across demographic groups in Jersey, in particular-
• The history and development of employment and training provision across the different sectors of the employment market
• Opportunities for youth employment and training, to include education, industry initiatives, and apprenticeships
• The involvement of the States in skills training
• The impact of the Regulation of Undertakings and Development system on employment and training rates of locally qualified and non-locally qualified employees, and the role of ‘J’ category employees in the employment market
• Employment opportunities for women, those past retirement age, and the disabled. • Any other pertinent matters that may arise during the course of the review.
