Environment Panel to question Minister on Nitrate Levels

24 January 2017

As part of the Environment, Housing and Infrastructure Panel’s review of Nitrate Levels in Jersey’s Water, the Panel will be receiving the Minister for the Environment for a Public Hearing to question him, among other things, on the recently published Water Management Plan (WMP). The Panel has engaged expert advisors from SEPA (Scottish Environment Protection Agency) to help assist with its review and, primarily, to assess whether the WMP is sufficient for tackling Jersey’s nitrate problems.
